Changing date of post

  • Hi there,

    Some of my posts are referring to events so the published date of the post confuses many site visitors.

    Is it possible to change the date of the post to a date in the future even if I want to post it now? Any code for this?

    Alternatively, is there code for removing the date of the event posts but keeping the date for the blog posts?

    Hi there, I’ve looked at things on Dyad, and do not see a way to hide the date only on a certain category of posts since there is not a category class in the opening body selector on single post pages.

    If you publish a post that has a date in the future, that post will not appear until that date/time set.

    You might want to look at and consider an Events Plugin, such as Events Manager. I’ve not used that plugin, but it appears like it might do what you are wanting since it has an Events Custom Post type.
