Changing default catergory

  • When posting, users by default have the general catergory selected, i would like to remove this default catergory. If they do not tick a catergory then could I display a prompt to enter a catergory. If they tick a catergory the post will not be published. Is this possible?

  • Why remove the default tick category, and then have to go and write additional code to do a check if they have selected a category?
    I’m sure you have thought this through, but based on what you’re asking it sounds like you’re just asking for more work.
