Changing default user profile

    Does anyone know a quick and easy way to change the default behavor of the user profiles of anyone that signs up to be a “contributor” instead of a “subscriber”

    Yep.

    1. Go to admin panel.
    2. Under settings, click general.
    3. Change “Subscriber” to “Contributor” under New User Default Role.
