changing directory

  • I just started using WordPress, installing it with HostGator through “Quickinstall”, which is a service on CPanel. I installed WordPress with Home address and URL as https://www.jakespharler.com/myblog. Then from the dashboard, I changed it to https://www.jakespharler.com/blog (w/out “my”). This then made it impossible to access my dashboard anymore, leading to a 404 error. I googled various methods of fixing this problem by changing the wp-config.php file and others, but had no luck. Can anybody help me with this?
