Changing domain name from the default numbers to actual web address?

    Visit Settings -> General. There are two URL values.

    Just to confirm:

    Will I have to do anything to the database or will it automatically know what to do?

    If they add content now, will it still be there after the switch is made?

    Sorry I’m such a worry wort about this, but I just want to make sure that they won’t somehow lose all the information that has been added when we switch over the domain.

    For the most part it really *is* that simple.

    Only potential issue that pops to mind might be images and their links in posts. However, if the current IP address is what the upcoming DNS names points to that shouldn’t be an issue either.s
