Changing email in general settings

    I’m trying to change the email address in General Settings. How long does it take for the email to appear in your inbox allowing you to confirm that change. I expected it to be instantaneous.

    Normally the change of the email does not take more than a minute in most cases, however sometimes problems can occur in the server.

    Try to make the change again and check your inbox and also your spam folder.

    Sometimes there are server-side issues that prevent from receiving the confirmation email.

    There are two things you can do:

    1) Contact your hosting provider in regards of server-side issues related to sending emails and how to solve them.

    2) You can just modify the email address directly into the database.

    Thanks guys – contacted my hosting provider and changed the email address directly in the database.
