Changing embed options based on user field(s)

    Hi,

    I’m wondering if this can be done. My users have a custom boolean field I am hoping can be used to determine if the embedded pdf should have the download button displayed or not.

    By default, the embeds are all put as canDownload = false. Can this be changed based on the user viewing the page?

    Hi,

    yes, this can be done with custom code.. If you have already a user settings you can change pdf settings with a filter.

    Basically you can filter the render_block and read logged in user preferences and modify the pdf options on per user settings.
