    I have a series of recurring events created. The site has been live for a few weeks and tickets have been sold via Stripe. Now the client wants to change a few things. I made a test site, a carbon copy of the original. I had 15 bookings, then tried making minor changes for a repeating event, and all booking related to that event vanished, leaving me with 12.

    I’ve updated to the latest versions of everything, and made a couple of videos showing the problem.

    The dev says the records are not really lost, they’re still in the database. I really need this problem solved ASAP!

    Hi,

    In the repeat section, if you change in the repeat step, interval, and ends options then it will delete all the repeat events and then recreate them. Bookings related to the deleted events will also be removed.

    If you wish to make changes to all the recurring events then avoid changing options in the Repeat section.

    For example: If you want to change event-type for all of the recurring events, then update this in the main event. At the time of the update, there will be a confirmation pop-up prompting you to choose to make changes to single event, or all the recurrences.

    Select the second option and click on the Submit button. This will change the event-type in events in the series.

    Is there a workaround? If I export all the Bookings, can I re-import them after I make changes to the event? It sounds like there needs to be some kind of shared ID between the event and the booking that has no dependency on anything else, so they can always stay connected.
