Changing Featured Image on Mobile

The blog posts page for my site displays beautifully on desktop, but on mobile the featured image breaks the formatting. Ideally I would like to embed the featured image so that it appears above or below the post title in mobile, allowing all the content to be visible.

Is this possible? Or will I have to remove the featured image from displaying in mobile entirely?
