Changing feed “channel”

    Hi,

    Is there a way to change feed “channel”? Fruugo Australia is not working properly. As per previous suggestion, I tried to change to Netherlands instead on existing feed. Changing the country is not doing anything and “channel” says “fruugoaustralia”. I am not able to change it.

    Attempts to copy the project copies same channel and I am not able to change.

    As existing feed contains quite a few of rules and filters, I would like to simply change the channel, instead of copying each setting one by one.

    Thanks for reaching out. That unfortunately is not possible. Feed configurations, and even configuration pages themselves, hugely depend on the channel that has been chosen when initially configuring the feed. When we would allow users to change the channel later it would result in all following configuration pages (fields) having to be changed too which will result in too many possible issues for users.

    So unfortunately the only thing to do is to configure a complete new feed.

    Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and/or our support is no longer required we will close this topic for housekeeping reasons now.
