changing folders to year/month

    At this time all our media files are located in 1 folder (uploads). Because we have too much images in this folder, I want to switch to the year/month structuur. Is this possible using your plugin? Will all the files still be visible (files already present in uploads and newly uploaded files in year/month folders?)

    Hey @marjolein64 !

    Unfortunately WordPress does itself does never move a file physically after uploaded. That means, if you activate the Year / Month option, only new uploads will be placed to the correct physical folder.

    Alternative solution:

    There is an add-on for Real Media Library (which works also with the free version), that allows you to move your files physically – also existing ones: https://devowl.io/wordpress-real-physical-media/

    I want to keep the images that are already uploaded to the site in the same uploads folder, and put the newly uploaded images in the Year/Month folders. Is your plugin able to keep showing the already uploaded images (1 folder) and the newly uploaded images?
