• Hey all,

How do I change the color and/or opacity of the font in posts? I’ve changed the background color to black, and the default gray-ish color is pretty faint. When I make a new page I see how I can modify font (the stuff that I type that goes onto the page) and stuff, but, ALL posts, existing AND incoming, how do I change the default settings for THAT font?

I’m sure there is some thread out there already and I apologize. I’ve stumbled across a few VERY similar ones, but none that seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. SO any help or redirection to another thread is greatly appreciated. In case it helps, I’m using the twenty theme and I am pretty comfortable with SSH-ing and editing files and what not, so no need for explanation there.

    Thanks in advance!!

  • Try editing the theme’s stylesheet. But be warned that your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.

Oh ok THAT’S what child theme means. Thanks for that idea. I actually have been editing the style sheet. I changed some of the other colors around, but I cant find where exactly in the file it deals with the color of the post-font.

So far it’s just been guess and check.
