We have four notifications set up using BNWP with a few variations of from email addresses and reply to email addresses. All of them are using the same domain as the website. https://independentphysio.com

When we do email tests, they say they are from “WordPress” and the email is [email protected] rather than what what set in notifications.

When I search through the support forum, I found an older thread addressing this problem here. https://betternotificationsforwp.com/documentation/compatibility/changing-name-email-transactional-notifications/ However, it looks like this functionality is now built into the most recent version of this plugin. Currently, what is the best way to handle this? Does one still need to update the functions.php? In that case, we won’t be able to use different from email addresses for different notifications, correct?

I am hoping a better way is now available.

    Thanks in advance,
    D

    Hi @webdi,
    Thanks for your message.

Is the email sent with the correct credentials when sending out a real notification? Or is it always the same as the test email?
