Changing Functions of Menu Tab

When clicked, my menu tab sends me to the linked page. This same menu tab opens a drop down menu. How do I remove the link and leave only the drop down function? I am using a child theme of Live Wire. In my dashboard I go to Appearance -> Menu and then click then go to Edit Menu Item. But can’t see what needs to be done there.
