Changing H1 tag in header or page

  • Under Bing analytics I am told I have too many H1 tags on a page so ahould I leave my site name as H1 then change the page title to H2 or would it be better to set my site title to H2 and then have the page titles as H1

    Sounds like an issue with your theme, though note that Google doesn’t have a problem with it. Which theme are you using?

    I am using 2014 theme my site is https://www.aew-electrical.co.uk at first I had 4 H1 on the page
    1.Website title in the header
    2. Page title
    3. google map widget title in sidebar
    4. Social media feeds title in side bar
    I managed to get rid of one by not putting the title in for social media but when I did the same for the google map title it still shows an H1.

    Also my blog page has 8 H1 as each blog title is classed as H1

    So Bing SEO analytics says there is a problem is there ?
