Changing Header From Picture to Shaded Box

  • I am using the PressRow Theme https://www.findcreditcards.org/pressrow/ .

    I would like to change the header on the main page from a picture that’s loaded from an image file to a lightly shaded box with text. I am very new to this but if you tell me what code to change and what to enter I can follow directions pretty good.

    Is it just a matter of disabling the picture or taking it out? Can I just change the header in Presentation section under Header Image and Color? Or do I need to edit the style.css? I am using WP 2.0.

  • all you have to do is edit the image file. or create a new image of the same dimensions as that image file, keep the name the same, and then just upload and replace the old image file on the server.
