  • If your theme does not have an option for setting the image, you could use this ‘hack’ to change the image.

Create your own png image 527 x 270 px and name it ‘apple.png’. Upload it to https://firstfruitsliving.com/wp-content/themes/apples/images/apple.png, replacing the existing image.

Note that if you ever update the theme, your change will be lost.

I no longer have photoshop so can’t save an image as png unless you know of a program that is free? My other comp crashed and I lost all those lovely programs. How do you upload images? I don’t see that anywhere. I am use to blog spot so trying to figure this out ??

I can have a friend convert a file to a png so just need to figure out how to upload it. So each time we write a post do we have to fix the header then?

Also where do I check “setting the image” not sure if my theme has one or not actually?

The free program GIMP is an image editing program with many of the same capabilities as Photoshop. Here is an article on converting images to PNG with Gimp.

The location of theme options is usually under Admin->Appearance, but this depends on the theme you are using.
