Changing Header Text

  • I have installed and activated the Reiki Companion plug-in. I am unable to change the header text “Building Websites Is Easy-Peasy.” Every other text I click on populates a box where I can change the text, but this text does not populate a box and I cannot type in it. Please help.

    Hello everyone,

    To change the text of the title and or buttons you simply need to click the text or the button in the Customizer preview and you will be able to change the text live in the Customizer.

    When I click the edit button for the header text, nothing happens. This is the only button not to display the edit box.

    Are you using latest version of WordPress and theme?

    I’m using Reiki Version: 1.1.0, being the version offered to me using the add new theme button within WordPress. My WordPress is version 4.7.3

    I have the same issue. I’ve tried clicking and nothing happens. I have removed and re-installed both the theme and the plug-in. My WordPress version is 4.7.3 and I even went back to version 4.7.2 and it still didn’t work. I tried deactivating all other plug-ins except reiki companion and still it does not work.I am using Reiki version 1.1.0. I am on a Mac. IThe title and text sections are not working when I click in them.

    I just installed the theme update and it appear to be working now. I will try out all the sections and post if I have an additional issues.

    Hi Stevesmithus,

    Sure. I updated the Reiki Companion plugin to version 1.0.78. I think the update just came out today. So far so good. I hope it works for you as well.
