Changing Home Page / Setting URL to New Page

    Below is a tip for changing the default Vantage HOME PAGE to a newly built page. This took me a few clicks to figure out, hope it saves you some time.

    I was able to redirect my URL to an alternate page than the Home Page by:
    1) Create a new page that you intend to use as your home page ‘New Home Page’
    2) Navigate to Appearance > Customizations > Static Page
    3) select Static Front Page list box and select Front Page as ‘New Home Page’
    4) As an extra tip – remember to add the ‘New Home Page’ as your first menu option if you intend it to be first in navigation

    This also means that Vantage’s Apperance>Home Page link should no longer be used to edit the home page. It will now be “off” and if you click it back “on” it will do away with the changes done through WP settings.

    To edit home page you’ll have to go to WP Admin Pages>Page edit from now on, if you do this change.
