Changing index location?

I installed WordPress in a sub-directory (https://www.ultimateinsult.net/wordpress) but would like to have the main index.php in my main directory (https://www.ultimateinsult.net). I poked around for a long time and still haven’t found anything promising. I thought I found it in MySQL under “options” and the “blodotgsping_url” location, which I changed to no effect. Any help’s appreciated!
