I am trying to change the labels and placeholder text in the Cherry Testimonials plugin. For example, when you create a testimonial it says “Position” and “CEO/Founder”, I would like it to say “Dog’s Name” and “Name” respectively. I was told that I could use this plugin to make those changes. So far no such luck in accomplishing this. I changed the source text in the template file and saved it but it is not reflected in the Add testimonial page. Any advice on how I can do this?

Right now the live testimonials display how I want them, but when the client (a dog trainer) goes to add a testimonial I want the labels to be relevant to the information they are inputing. In this case, the “Position” would be the “Dog’s Name” and the “Company Name” would be the “Dog’s Breed”

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Never change source text in the template file. If you want custom English text, just create an English translation file with the original source strings mapped to the custom strings you want.

Thanks for the reply. I was able to get this to work with some help from my theme author.
