• Hi! Great plugin, works beautifully so far.

My only doubt is how to change the backend language. I tried changing the /languages/default.mo file (editing what appeared to be the sentences for the front end of the plugin) but nothing changed.

Also I am happy to provide Spanish translations as I need to translate anyways for my audience.

    Thanks!

Looking into it. I will post a resolution when I figure it out.

I managed to translate part of the front end with the Codestyle Localization plugin:

    https://www.code-styling.de/english/development/wordpress-plugin-codestyling-localization-en

Point is that not all the text strings are in the .po file. Example: the sample field texts First Name, Last name and E-mailaddress. These exist in the .po file but do not end up translated as the .mo file is created or updated.

Would be nice if the plugin author could recheck and provide a complete .po file.

This is a great plugin but I cannot translate it in french… I tried to changed the .mo file… but without success…

    It’s too bad !

Translations will be recognized, if you put your translation mo – file into the language folder having following name
    “contestfriend-(lang).mo”

[lang = eg. de_DE | contestfriend-de_DE.mo for german in my case]
