    Hi,

    I am trying to change the link color in the second media/text block that shows in the page and I don’t understand why it keeps showing in blue. The inspector shows:
    `:root .has-link-color a {
    color: #00e;
    color: var(–wp–style–color–link,#00e);

    cheers,
    Rod

    Hi Oliver,
    Thank you for making all that much clearer to me.

    So, while I was juggling each time I needed a deeper modification I could just have asked you. That’s comforting to know. I wondered what would be the limit for asking each time I needed something. How many of “you” are there, by the way? ^_^

    Just to be sure I get it: If i need to change the html in the footer, for example, without using a child theme: I ask you if adding that option in the theme is feasible and if so you will add it in the Options for Twenty Twenty One? (I guess that, together with adding a different background image for each page, are the only html modifications I have until now that isn’t yet in the Options plugin).

    Hi Rod,

    Sure, I think that’s pretty much why we’ve built what we’ve built!

    So why don’t you create a new thread for your “html in the footer” requirement detailing exactly what it is that you need and we’ll take a look.

    The “different background image for each page” has already been dealt with in the upgraded plugin which uses the page / post featured image and even adds featured image functionality to the taxonomy tag / category pages. However, due to WordPress forum guidelines, we cannot discuss such features here, sorry.

    PS – “We” is often a “royal we” / “limited company we” but there are several other freelance developers who are called upon for various tasks.

    Cool. Sure will create that thread, Oliver. And I consider also upgrading soon the Options plugin. (I was delusioned thinking it was a monthly subscription and that it was therefor incompatible with the start off of my project)

    I very much appreciate what you do and your presence. Never enough to thank you once more.

    cheers,
