changing look of blogroll (php wp_list_bookmarks)

I am using the wp_list_bookmarks() function to display the blogroll on my site. However, it displays the links as a bulleted list and I would like to remove the UL/LI elements. Can someone please point me to the right corefiles (css?) to customize my display? Thanks.
