Changing <title> tag

  • Hey. For something that should be so simple, I am having a huge problem with.

    In my theme files, I have changed the <title> tag in header.php to:

    <title>Watch Scrubs</title>

    But it is coming out as “Scrubs Online” which was my old blog name.

    I have also changed the blog name in the WP admin panel and it still has not changed.

    Any help on this? Thanks.

  • Scrubs Online is obviously stored somewhere in your site.

    Do you by any chance use All in One SEO Pack plugin? If so, go to its admin page because it overwrites title tags, and can be configured to display specific text strings as a blog name.

    If not All in One, check to see if you have any other plugins that might be changing your page titles.
