Changing media folder settings afterwards

    Hello,
    I have a WordPress site since several years and from the beginning the setting “Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders” was disabled.

    Do I have any problems if I activate this now? I understand that previous images are not affected but the ones which are uploaded in the future.

    Is this correct or do I run into any problems if I activate the setting now?
