    Hi,

I’ve designed my storefront website in English but my client would like to have it in Portuguese.

Is there a way to do this without having to create archive pages to edit the shop and cart pages? Thanks for reading.

    Thanks,

    K

  • Hi there!

Are you looking to offer the site in Portuguese and English or do you want to switch the site completely to Portuguese?

If you want to change it to Portuguese completely, then go to the Settings > General section in your dashboard. There is a drop-down here where you can select the site’s language. That will help translate many of the items you see on the front end of the site, like the “add to cart” buttons. After that you would need to translate any of the text in pages, posts, and products so it is in Portuguese.

If you want to offer both languages, you could use something like MultilingualPress. It will allow you to serve content in both languages.

Let me know if you have any questions,
