changing name of folder site is in

I have my site hosted with host papa and when I set it up I called it splatsentertainment.com/splats_blog as I wanted to keep my original site running until I had this ready.

I now want to change the name to … Well nothing actually. I just want it to be splatsentertainment.com so I guess I just get rid of the folder I have called splats_blog and leave the contents there. I now have just the wp files in my publichtml file which seems to be right and I can access the site ok but I am concerned about changing the name and URL in my wordpress admin as if this doesn’t work I would then not be able to log in anymore to try something else

Can anyone help please it’s kinda urgent:0)
