• I am trying to change the number of posts that are shown in the Latest Posts grid on the homepage. Right now it shows 5 posts, no matter what I put in the settings.

The posts are hosted on another site, but I am trying to post them on my homepage. They are not updating when a new post is added. On the homepage, you can see the different plugins I have tried—none of them work.

Is there a way to do this? I have also tried RSS feeds, but nothing works the way I need it to. Thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @nubiesan ,

Please check the wp-admin to confirm if there is a limit set in the Gutenberg block. If no limit is configured, it should fetch an unlimited number of latest posts. However, if there is a limit of 5 in place, you won’t be able to fetch more than the latest posts.

You can refer to the attached screenshot for more details: https://imgur.com/a/CLeEkYG

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I have changed the number of items to show in the plugin page, but I don’t know what to look for in the wp-admin files. Can you please let me know where to look?

    Thanks

    Hi @nubiesan,

I can see that you were able to figure out how to show more than 5 posts on the homepage. Can you please elaborate more on the second query mentioned? I am not sure if I understood it correctly.

    Kind regards,
    Aradhy ??

I would like to have the Read More take me to the full original post. The only plugin I have found so far is Feedzy. However, at the end of the post, there is a statement: The post Start the New Year with Handmade Gender Neutral Quilts appeared first on Quilting With The Baby Quilt Lady. There is also no way to add a Read More button. The plugin author says it is not something that Feedzy adds. Both the destination site and the origin site are using the Astra theme.

Is there a way to make this happen? Thanks again

    Hi @nubiesan,

This is something that will require a page builder or if needed a specific plugin. If that doesn’t help, you can also achieve this with custom code. If this helps, you can check out the attached documentation for reference. [Link to Documentation]

Also, I would leave this to the forum if there’s someone who can help by sharing custom code or thoughts.

    Kind regards,
    Aradhy ??
