Changing one of the template files

Hello, This plugin is great! It does just what I need, but I had to update the “templates/default/template-page-builder.php” file to accommodate a banner plugin I already am using on my site. Everything is functioning correctly now, but I want to be able to update this plugin in the future and not without losing this edit. Is it possible to have the plugin look for this template-page-build.php folder in my child theme folder instead of the plugin folder?
