changing page and body background colors

  • Howdy —
    I’ve went the the style.css in my themes directory and changed
    all the to and I’ve removed all images links:

    body {
    background-color: green;
    }
    page {
    background-color: green;
    }

    Nothing happens they appear to be default white?

    Any ideas
