• Hi,

I’ve looked into Permalinks but I’m not comprehending this.

I have the default page naming convention (?p=12).

I need to name these pages “Mypage1”, “Mypage2”, etc.

    How do I do this?

Also, Can these have an .htm extension?

    Thanks!

Look at using different permalink structure–see Permalinks

You can create a page called MyPage, and use the Pages Link To plugin to ‘redirect’ to your xxxxx.htm file.

    Thanks!

I went to Permalinks and used the Custom Structure with the
    “/%postname%” option.

Now the page will not render using view or the link provided on the edit page.

The reason I’m asking for this approach is to enable me to perform SEO for this blog. I made four pages using a custom theme. Well, it’s really the same theme with the sidebar and footer removed. I need to link to these from the main blog.

Now the 64K question(s)… Can I revert back to one of the other permalink options, be able to link to them and using the SEO plugin properly assign meta tags and descriptions for search engine marketing?

    Thanks!
