Changing page template

I downloaded this plugin, watched the video and scanned the documentation and it just doesn’t work for me. I can’t change the page template to be “Members Only” because then my page template breaks. I cannot create a password protected page and then have the user redirected to the proper page, because there doesn’t look to be a way to do that.

Maybe I’m missing something, but this plugin just didn’t work the way I hoped.
