Changing Permalink to work with wordpress calendar

    Hello,

    I was wondering if there was a way to implement the events posts into how normal posts are sorted. By this I mean I currently have the wordpress calendar widget on the side to display posts for specific dates, I was wondering if I could make it so the events show on this calendar as well. my posts currently create the permalink like this /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/

    but events permalinks are /event/ is there anyway to make it the same as current post permalinks?

  • Hi notnicecream,

    Currently we do not have a way of adjusting the permalinks like you can do for events.

    I guess it’s possible to do this via custom code, or by adding the proper rewrite rules to your .htaccess files. Supporting this customization would be out of the support scope of this forums, but maybe a community user can add a snippet or a thought on how to change this.
