changing permalink used to result in old permalink being redirected. not anymore

    A few weeks ago, I’m sure that I changed my permalinks many times and the old links still worked-they were just redirected to the new location. Any idea why it’s not working now? I just get a 404. Thanks.

    Also, when the old permalinks worked even after changing the permalink, I was using the old xmlrpc.php file. I’ve updated since. Do you think that’s the problem?

    Also, what’s the point of the guid in the database? It will not work if you have changed your permalinks.
