Changing Permalinks

  • Could it be that your hosting provider put you on a Windows server? It’s sometimes a bit more difficult to get pretty permalinks when your not on a Linux server.

    I don’t think so, our host is HostGator. I tried to ask their support for assistance but they were not much help.

    I would try again and just for fun, first, go to your site via FTP and make sure that the htaccess file is set to permissions 777.

    Set the permission and then save the permalinks again.

    Hi Christine… I tried that to no avail. Still not working. Any other suggestions? Thanks so much for your help so far! ??
