Changing Permalinks and 301 Redirects

Hello,

I’m attempting to do a site wide URL restructure in order to better segment visitors to our site. I’m trying to figure out the best way to change a URL that is:

https://www.website.com/title-of-post/

to

https://www.website.com/resource/ebook/topic/title-of post/

I have the Redirection plug-in installed, but I’m unsure if I need to create 301 redirects. All of the content on the page is staying the same I just need to change the URL structure and ensure if a visitor clicks on the old structure (from a Google search) they are directed to the new URL. Basically, what I’m trying to avoid is creating new pages that are exactly the same (besides URL) as the older pages.

I thought the Redirection plugin might have a feature that could asisst with what I’m trying to accomplish. I guess I want to change the permalink and then have an 301 redirect automatically created for the old permalink. Any help would be much appreciated.
