    Hi, I’m using WP v3.7.1 and Promotion-Slider v3.3.4 (https://winsat.com.ar)

I started my site using default permalinks (i.e. ?page_id=10)
When installed plugin I followed instructions and all went good.
I create a slider, and then some promotions (assigned to that slider)
On front page I see correctly promotions

Now I would like to change my permalink structure to personalizated, but then promotions got broken.
I see them rotating into slider, but clicking them gives me a Not Found (404).

I roll back my permalinks to default and got it working again.

Which are steps to change permalinks and not break my promotions?

    Thanks in advance

Do you have any other custom post types on your site? Or just promotions? If you do have other custom post types, do the pretty permalinks working for those?

Flushing the rewrite rules will typically fix the 404 issue, which my plugin does on activation. Flushing the rewrite rules also occurs each time you visit the permalinks page in WordPress. It could be that your theme or a plugin is doing something funky and flushing / altering those rules in an inappropriate way. Have you tried disabling all other plugins and then changing the permalink structure? If that doesn’t work, keep all other plugins disabled, switch to a default theme and then try changing the permalinks.

It could be that there are some other factors at play here as well… read through this article to learn more about what you should look into: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Permalinks.
