Changing Permalinks setting crashes entire site

    After changing the Permalinks setting to date/title, I get only this now for the entire site:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) Server at blog.wendelbrume.com Port 80

    Just before changing the permalinks, I’d installed and activated SEO All in One with the default settings.

    WP-Admin is not accessible.

    It turns out that it really WAS an internal error. HostMySite had to do something to activate permalinks.
