changing Permalinks gives me a 404 or a 500 error

  • Hi there

    I`m having a major issue here.

    Every time I change the permalinks to a style diferent from the Default one I recieve or an error 500 page on every thing (wp-admin and the site itself) or 404 page when trying to move to another page besides the home page and the wp-admin.

    Whats happening?

    Some help please

  • What’s your web site error logs say? If you have cPanel, you can check the error logs from your control panel. There are many reasons for 500 error.
