changing permalinks to match blogger's

    I’m working with a script to create an option to import blogger to wordpress especially for large sites. We have all comments, and posts, tags, etc all imported… Our last problem is coming from the mismatch b/n Blogger and WP permalinks.

    Does anyone know of a script to truncate permalinks to 39 characters and remove articles & accents? I’m hoping to run it directly into the database. And also, we have no “Blogger Permalink” meta data.
