Changing phone number on header

  • Hi all,

    We had a website built for us and now need to adjust a few details ourselves. The two things I am having trouble with are:

    1) Changing the details of the phone number in the header (Just below the menu links).
    2) Removing the “L” logo down the very bottom (Beside the Twitter, Facebook and Google+ ones).

    I have trawled through wordpress on the host and found the Facebook, Twitter and Google links / logos, but not the “L” one.

    Can anybody point me to the way of adjusting the phone number and getting rid of that little “L”?

    I can’t go back to the writers due to on going issues with them, so that’s out I’m afraid ??

  • Did you check the header.php and footer.php in your theme folder.

    Also I noticed your site use Visual Composer, I’m afraid I haven’t worked with it ever, but you could look for solutions to edit the footer/Header in VC.

    Thanks Alexander. I looked in the header for the phone number details and changed it that way. Took a bit of finding, but all worked out ok in the end ??

    little “L” it is an image with an dinamic link, you can get rid of little “L” by deleting this image /wp-content/themes/salient/img/localist.png via FTP, or cpanel.
    Anothor solution you can try to change it from your theme option at social media i think it will be.
