    Hello,

I’m looking to change the locations of my in-post ads. The first one for example is now set on the 3rd paragraph, but I want it on the 4th. How do I solve that?

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to disable the ads in specific posts and how I can do that.

    Otherwise: Wonderful app!

    Thank you!
    Tessa

    Hi Tessa,

    thanks for reaching out.

I’m looking to change the locations of my in-post ads.

It looks like the ads on your website are placed by Google Auto ads.

The AdSense “Auto ads” function can place ads automatically on your site. They decide about position, size, and number of ads.

If you enabled Auto ads through Advanced Ads then you can remove their code in Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense > Verification code & Auto ads.

However, AdSense can also inject Auto Ads through individual ad units. You can only disable that behavior directly in your AdSense account. Go to your AdSense Dashboard > Ads > Overview > By site, then click on your website and disable Auto ads in the Ad Settings section.

You can follow this tutorial and learn how to place AdSense ads manually on your site. This makes sure that AdSense ads will appear on positions of your choice on mobile and desktop.

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to disable the ads in specific posts and how I can do that.

Sure, there are several options to disable manually placed ads. I suggest using display conditions to control the appearance or the “disable ads on this post” option.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

    Best regards,
    Henning

    Hello Henning,

you are right, at the time I didn’t have advertisements enabled in the posts through Advanced ads as I was experiencing some problems (a.k.a. lack of experience). There are auto-ads now, displaying on some pages only. I’m not sure why that is as I experience the exact same problem with the in-post ads I placed with Advanced Ads (through the Adsense tool you offer).

I’m pretty sure the issue is with Adsense as it occurs with both the auto-ads and the adsense eds generated through Advanced Ads. I was wondering though if you may have some insights on that matter?

PAGE displaying auto-ads: [ redundant link removed ]
PAGE NOT displaying auto ads: /blog-archive/

POST displaying Advanced Ads ~ Adsense: /art-articles/adult-jellyfish-for-creatives/
POST NOT displaying Advanced Ads ~ Adsense: /living-species/turritopsis-dohrnii-phoenix-of-the-ocean/

I also tested the shortkey option by manually adding advertisement blocks, but these don’t work in the problematic posts either.
All posts are written in the backend in the same way. The template I use for the posts is made by Elementor and I always use the same.

    Hoping this helps.
    Thank you!
    ~Tess

@tezartdesign You just created an identical post for another plugin and it was archived as a dupelicate.

Which plugin for this problem are you seeking support for?

    Hello Jan,

I’m at a loss as to where to be, but I’m suspecting the problem is with Google Site Kit/adsense. So if I have to pick just one, it would be that one.

    Thank you!

OK, I am closing this topic and restoring the new topic then.

Edit: Or not. You already have a topic for that plugin and creating duplicate doesn’t help you.

You can continue there if needed.
