Changing Post Order adding old stories to new existing blog.

  • So I’m currently running a blog that shows content users can subscribe too. A while back there were some communication issues and the blog didn’t get updated correctly. Long story short there is now a gap of about 6 post that should be in the chronological stream but aren’t. I would like to add these posts but I don’t want them to appear above the newer post. Any suggestions?

  • Backdate the posts.

    As soon as you go to Posts->Add New, click the Edit link next to “Publish immediately”. Adjust the date to the date you should have published on and select OK. Then go on to create & publish your post as normal.
