    Hi,

the custom loop only works on “physical” pages that you create yourself. It doesn’t work on socalled ghost pages like category or author archives, nor on custom post type archives.

So you can create a page and enable the custom loop on that page. You can use any slug you want (as long as it doesn’t conflict with the WordPress standard page slugs for archives etc.), and set the category selections and sort order any way you want. You would have to create a new page for each category though.

Or perhaps I am misunderstanding the question.

    Many thanks Ronald,
I know what you mean and it’s a good way to solve the issue.
Anyway I still have a category page and I would like to manage this.
I hope you can add this functionality to your fantastic plugin in the future ??

I will keep it in consideration.
