• I’ve been working on a site which is going to be a site used for searching historic ruins. We decided to use a property theme called ‘Zoner’ for this as it would suit the way users will be able to search places via the map and in lists.

    https://www.beyondhistory.co.uk

Unfortunately there is no simple way to change the property category in the theme options – you can currently search places by Keyword, Categories, Type, Status, and City; visible on the front page map but also used to categorize property pages on the rest of the site.

I need to change these category names to something more relevant, such as ‘Era’, ‘Use’, ‘Area’, etc. The theme’s customer support has been very responsive and told me I can do this by downloading the .po file for the site, and adding ‘translations’ for all instances of the category names to the names I want. For instance I have added translations for all instances of ‘cities’ in the po file to ‘area’ but upon re-uploading the po file to the site, no difference has been made.

    Can anyone please help?

Also, I would like to change the main colour scheme to a custom colour, however the theme options only gives you limited preset choices. This regards all areas of the site currently shown in light blue.

    Many thanks,
    Liam
