• Hi,

I have a similar issue to this support thread here.

I totally understand your logic, that if i have a max qty of 10 and i already have 6 items in my cart, if i try to add another 5 it wont work, thats the whole point of the plugin.

What i cant seem to figure out is, how do i remove 1 item only from the cart. if i have 6 but i really only want 5, if i set the qty to 5 in the cart page, and then click update cart, it trys to add that number, which you would expect. but now im confused as to how to remove just 1. I know there is a remove button but that removes all the items.

Am i missing a setting somewhere in WC maybe?

    Thanks ??

great plugin by the way ?? it really saved my butt.

So that you can see my setup and test it out, the site im using it on is liveroomescape.com. Customers reserve tickets using wp-events manager and then they receive a booking email that presents a link that adds a ticket product to the cart via a link, i.e: liveroomescape.com/checkout/?add-to-cart=4763&quantity=8 the quantity number is set with a shortcode, to my surprise this works well.

the only issue is, if the customer for whatever reason needs to change the quantity from 8 to 5, clicking update cart doesnt seem to work. (sorry it does work, it just seems to add that number instead of ‘update’ it.)

update: I should note that i have tested this in a few different ways, for example, when i first click the link from the email, i will then navigate away from the checkout to the home page, and then back to the checkout page and then try to update the cart. I thought this might make a difference.

Sorry for the delay. I see your point. I will be able to update the plugin sometime within the week, or so. Thanks for your patience.

No worries, I’m glad to have been able to help even if it was in a very small way ??

This is a great plugin I’m surprised its not included in WC core.

    Thanks again ??

Thanks for review. WooCommerce Max Quantity 1.2.1 was just released and it fixes this issue. Now, it will work correctly when you UPDATE the quantity on the Cart page.

    Hope this helps.
