Changing root paths in XML Sitemap

    We have implemented a wordpress installation to an existing website. The wordpress installation is located on a subdomain, but rerouted to a path of the main domain. When I create a xml sitemap the URLs have the paths of the subdomain. Is there a method how to change this root directory?
