Changing sidebar on post type pages

  • Hello Everyone,

    I use the podlove plugin for putting podcast content in a site that hosts other posts and pages, too.

    I need to use a different sidebar for the podcasts main page. The permalink for this page is configured through podlove, but is the equivalent of /?post_type=podcast

    I already created a podcast-sidebar sidebar from the theme options menu, but I can’t figure out a way to replace the sideba in the page. I’m trying to do it without modifying the theme too much. Any ideas? I’ve looked in the interface to no avail and all I can come up with now is to make an archive-podcast.php page, but then again, I’d like to see if I’m missing something.
