Changing single product to variable – same SKU

    Client has two single products that he wants to change into one variable product. He wants to use the same SKUs for the variants as are currently used for the single products. I believe this would require deleting the single products and then creating the variable product using the old single-product SKUs.

    Recommended? Not recommended? What implications are there in reporting, order-keeping etc (both past and future) in doing this?
